Robert D. Rouse III, known as “Robin” by friends and family, is a Pitt County native who has served the needs of citizens throughout Eastern North Carolina since 1973. Robin’s personal injury practice consists of automobile, motorcycle, bus, tractor trailer, and logging truck collisions involving serious, catastrophic injuries or death. He has also successfully handled numerous punitive damage claims against drunk or grossly negligent drivers. Additionally, Robin frequently represents clients against large insurance companies in the denial of claims resulting from fire losses, death benefits or medical care, faulty construction, and unfair and deceptive trade practices. Robin also serves as a Certified Superior Court Mediator.

Robin received his undergraduate degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where he was a member of Sigma Nu fraternity, served on the Attorney General’s Staff, the Honor System Commission, IFC, YMCA Freshman camp staff, and was inducted into the Order of the Old Well. From 1969-1975, Robin served in the United States Army Reserve. In 1973, Robin earned his J.D. degree from the University of North Carolina School of Law. Robin began practicing law in eastern North Carolina and was in engaged in every aspect of the general practice of law. Robin soon realized his passion was helping those who had been injured and began to focus his practice on personal injury claims and other insurance claims. In 2005, Robin established the Law Offices of Robert D. Rouse III with offices in both Pitt County and Carteret County to better serve the people of eastern North Carolina

Robin is a true advocate for his clients and is committed to providing personal and individualized legal service. Although a person would prefer not to be involved in a litigation situation, it is reassuring to know that Robin has handled hundreds of cases successfully which involved litigation in the various trial courts, the North Carolina Court of Appeals, and North Carolina Supreme Court.

Robin is a member of the North Carolina Bar, the North Carolina Bar Association, the United States District Court for the Eastern District of North Carolina, the Pitt County Bar Association, the Carteret County Bar Association, the Third Judicial Bar Association, and the North Carolina Advocates for Justice.


Deedee Rouse Gasch

Deedee Rouse Gasch was born and raised in Greenville, North Carolina. Her personal injury practice focuses on automobile accidents, trucking accidents, motorcycle accidents, pedestrian accidents, and premises liability with an emphasis on cases involving severe, catastrophic injuries or death.

After graduating from Rose High School in Greenville, Deedee attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where she earned degrees in Journalism and Political Science. As an undergraduate, Deedee had the distinct privilege to intern in both the United States Senate and in Laura Bush’s Projects Office at the White House. These experiences ignited her passion for the political process and public service. Following her graduation from UNC-Chapel Hill, Deedee attended Florida Coastal School of Law in Jacksonville, Florida, where she was awarded the Governor’s Scholarship based on her academic accomplishments. In addition, while in law school, Deedee was a Dean’s Scholar and was regularly on the Dean’s List. She also served as a teaching assistant for legal writing classes, was on the board of the mock trial team, and volunteered with the guardian ad litem program. Deedee worked throughout her second and third years of law school at prestigious Jacksonville law firms gaining experience in the areas of personal injury, insurance defense, and family law. Deedee graduated from law school with honors and after passing the Florida bar, she began practicing law at one of Florida’s most prestigious insurance defense litigation firms.

Deedee spent years doing insurance defense work in Florida. She has represented some of the largest insurance companies in the country and their insureds. She knows first-hand how the insurance companies work when a claim is made against them. She has handled hundreds of cases involving automobile accidents, trucking accidents, or premises liability which led to injuries or death. Deedee ultimately decided to return to North Carolina to practice law in her home state, and she joined her father at his practice in 2009, marking a third generation of lawyers in the Rouse family to devote their practice to serving the families of eastern North Carolina.

Deedee is a member of the North Carolina Bar, the Florida Bar, the North Carolina Bar Association, the United States District Court for the Middle District of Florida, the United States District Court for the Eastern District of North Carolina, the Pitt County Bar Association, the New Hanover County Bar Association, the North Carolina Advocates for Justice, and the Junior League of Wilmington. She is a former member of the Chester Bedell Inns of Court.
